Day 1 - PINNAWELA / KANDY

Arrive in Sri Lanka. You will be met by a representative and transferred to Kandy. Visit Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage en route.

Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage

App. 55 miles from Colombo, off the Colombo - Kandy road is Pinnawela, where an orphanage was started in 1975 to house the abandoned and the wounded elephants. The number of elephants has increased to more than 40 now, including baby elephants brought from various parts, as well as the babies born, as a result of the captive breeding program. Arrive in Kandy.

The hill capital. Venue of the annual Perahera. The last stronghold of the Sinhalese Kings was finally ceded to the British in 1815.|

Day 2 - KANDY / PERADENIYA / NUWARA ELIYA

After breakfast visit Royal Botanical gardens, Peradeniya Sixty Seven hectares of exquisite beauty and botanical treasurers containing more than 4000 species, this is a heaven not only for Scientists but to every nature lover as well. Then leave for Nuwara Eliya en route visiting a tea plantation & a factory. Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya

Day 3 - NUWARA ELIYA / KITULGALA / BENTOTA

After breakfast proceed to Kitulgala & do white water rafting. This high adrenaline adventure on the white water section of the Kelani River is suitable for first time 'go for it' rafters and experts alike. Our journey ends close to Kitulgala town. Late afternoon check in to hotel and spend the rest of the day at Leisure. Overnight stay in Bentota

Day 4 - BENTOTA

Breakfast at hotel and leisure by the beach hotel. Overnight stay in Bentota.

Day 5 - BENTOTA / COLOMBO

Breakfast at hotel and leisure by the beach hotel. Midday leave for Colombo. Colombo a drive through the city taking you to the busy commercial areas as well as the tree-lined residential, Cinnamon Gardens. Visit Fort, the former British administrative center and military garrison, Sea Street - the Goldsmith’s quarters in the heart of Pettah, the Bazaar area, where is also a Hindu Temple with elaborate stone carvings and the Dutch Church of Wolfendhal dating back to 1749. The historic Dawatagaha Mosque and the former Eye Hospital are two buildings in Cinnamon Gardens worth looking at. Also visit the BMICH, see the replica of Avukana Buddha and the Independence Square. Check into the hotel. Overnight stay in Colombo.|

Day 6 - COLOMBO

After Breakfast transfer to the airport for departure.
